Artists Nancy Staszak, Eva Holy and Emily F Friel will be exhibiting at the Schoenherr Gallery June 5 - July 17. Gallery: 171 East Chicago Ave, Naperville.

Past Exhibits by members
  • Members Mary Beth Purse and Debbie Kliegl are showing at the current Tall Grass Exhibit, SANCTUARY. The large exhibit of 100 works focuses on artists’ interpretations of the theme through a range of media, subjects, and styles.
  • Member Laura Smetana had her first solo art show, Stories in Collage from February 2 - February 27, 2025 at the Woodridge Public Library, 3 Plaza Drive, Woodridge, IL. Laura is a children's book author and illustrator and the exhibit will feature collages from several of her children's books, including two upcoming books, My Love for You Is Like the Night Sky and My Lucky Leaf, as well as works inspired by her travels.
  • Members Nancy Staszak and Emily F Friel exhibited at the CAVA members show at the Bridegport Art Center.
  • In September at the LaGrange Art League, Emily F Friel exhibited a painting.
  • In May, at the Elmhurst Art Gallery were works created by DGAG members Maggie Capettini, Mary Beth Devine and Emily F Friel. 

  • Also, in May, DGAG member Maggie Capettini was the featured artist at the Downers Grove Public Library, and DGAG member Lyn Tietz was the featured artist at Gallery Seven in Lockport.
  • DGAG members Brad Purse and Marybeth Purse exhibited in the juried show at te McCord Gallery in Palos Park. Marybeth's work was called out by the judge as an exceptional piece, and Brad's work won first prize. An artistic duo! Show was up through May 3rd.

  • DGAG member Nancy Staszak exhibited four works at the Midwest Society's April show at the Downers Grove Public Library. Show was up through end of April.
  • DGAG member Brad Purse won TWO awards at the Tall Grass Arts Association exhibit. Sbow was up through March 16th.
  • DGAG member Anastasia Rezvoi was the featured artist at the Woodridge Public Library for the month of March.

  • DGAG exhibit at the Mayslake Peabody Estate featured memeber's works. Awards were granted to Carol Kazwick, Marh Hezek, Cynthis Dybsky, Maggie Capettini, Patricia Mroczka, Anastasia Rezvoi, Susan O'Connell.
  • At the DuPage Art League's Best of the Best exhibit, DGAG member Dorothy Bury Shaw won honorable mention. Show was up through Feb 27th.
  • At the ZhouB gallery in Chicago, DGAG members Nancy Staszak and Emily F Friel exhibited their work as part of the juried CAVA show. Show was up through March.
  • DGAG Member Isabella Anne Oberg was the featured artist at the Woodridge Public Library for the month of January.
  • At the Chicago Cultural Center, Rennaisssance Court, Dorothy Bury Shaw exhibited work as part of the juried CAVA show. The show was be up through Jan 5th. 

  • Naperville Country Club held a holiday art fair Nov. 25 and 26, 10-4:00pm. Pat Mrocska had art pieces as well as notecards and small wooden angel plaques. Several Napervile Art League members will also be displaying their crafts.
  • Member Pat Mroczka's work was displayed in the annual Naperville Art League's Gallery of Gifts. The Gallery of Gifts ran Nov. 17 thru Dec. 22. http://www.napervilleartleague.com/gallery-of-gifts.html

  • Members Nancy Staszak and Emily F Friel had work exhibited at the Elmhurst Art Gallery. Show was up during December.

  • Member Jay Moore had artwork in the exhibit at the McCord Gallery in Palos Park: "Common Threads: Showcasing Creativity in Wall-hung Fiber Art." Show was up Oct 13 Thru Nov 10.   • Members Mary Beth Devine and Emily F Friel had work exhibited at the Elmhurst Art League Gallery: "Blue". Show was up until December
  • Member Nancy Staszak exhibited at the Tall Grass Art Gallery, in Palos Park, recently. The exhibit featured artists from the Midwest Collage Society. She won an honorable mention for one of her works, and sold one of her works. Click on the link for more information about the Tall Grass Art Gallery: www.tallgrassarts.org .
  • Members Marybeth Devine and Pat Mroczka exhibited at the Morton Arboretum's Nature Artists' Guild Autumn Art Exhibit at the Morton Arboretum. Click here for more information on the Morton Arboretum's Nature Artists' Guild: https://natureartistsguild.com/

  • Several DAGA members were featured at the recent Danada Nature Art and Photo show. Members Dale Olsen, Mary Beth Purse, and Pat Mroczka won honorable mentions.
  • Two DGAG Artists were featured at the Yogurt Beach restaurant: Deborah Kleigl and Dee Freudenberg. The proceeds all support the Alzheimer's Association. It was a great success!

  • June featured the solo show for Dorothy Bury Shaw's work at Bloomingdale Park District Museum--with her poetry beside her artworks. Dorothy's work was also on display at the Morton Arboretum's Art and Wine Walk this August.
  • During the month of June, the Woodridge Public Library featured a solo show of member Nancy Staszak. the show was up fo the month of June, During July, the Westmont Public Library also featured Nancy's work. This summer, the depth and breadth of Nancy's work was on full display.
  • Maggie Capettini exhibited at the Schweikher House Prairie Center for the Arts East Gallery in Shaumburg March 1 - 31st. 
The exhibit was enhanced with historical context of the home contributed by The Schweikher House Preservation Trust, which included historic photographs and a reproduction of the 1949 Franz Lipp landscape plan, as well as highlights of painter and former resident Martyl Langsdorf.

  • Pat Mroczka had three of her paintings included in "Inspiring Curiosity," a show at Naper Settlement's Pre-Emption House 523 S. Webster, Naperville. The exhibit was sponsored by the Naperville Art League.
  • Pat Mroczka was the featured artist at the Morton Arboretum's Spring Art Exhibit in the Cudahy Room. 
The show included over 200 works of art celebrating nature, many inspired by the Arboretum landscapes and plants.
